I love bread pudding. The best I ever had was in New Orleans at the New Orleans School of Cookery, and that was a fun experience. It had pineapple and coconut in it, but was very similiar to this recipe. My boyfriend professes not to like coconut (although he ate his weight in it when a friend made Sri Lankan food), so I have not made that one. However, I think this is the same recipe, minus the pineapple and coconut. Caveat: Only use French bagettes, as other breads are not firm enough, and will be mushy. Here is the recipe.
