I am a bit confused as to how the prices of things are set. I obviously grow my own vegetables, but am a little slack in the livestock, fish and fowl. I look for volume prices, but a recent event has me looking for answers.

Ok…so why are Argentinian shrimp almost half the price of our native NC shrimp? Really??? I would love some response on this, as shrimp is something I use a lot in my recipes.
